Cardiff University

Founded in 1883, Cardiff University has become one of the most prestigious and best-loved higher education institutions in the whole of the UK. Situated in the Welsh capital, the university makes the best of its modern facilities and attracts students from all over the UK and the world. Students from outside the UK constitute around 17 per cent of the population. It is now a leader in media, the humanities, social sciences, engineering and technology. With an annual turnover of an estimated £315 million, Cardiff University has been leading in business and innovation and recently set up the Cardiff University Innovation Network, linking it up with hundreds of companies.
