Overview

Located in Muncie, Indiana, in the US, Ball State University is a public Carnegie classified research university with a campus of over 1,000 acres and a student body of more than 18,000 undergraduate students and 2,000 postgraduates. It is recognised nationally for its strengths in architecture, exercise science, education, anthropology, entrepreneurship and communications. There is housing for more than 7,000 students and more housing is being developed. Possibly the most famous of BSU's alumni is TV talk show host David Letterman.
